Fertiplant manufactures the entire range of ball mills for various grinding applications; whether it be:

• Open circuit,

• Air swept closed circuit with static classifier

• Air lift closed circuit with dynamic classifier
or whether it be

• Wet or dry grinding
or whether it be

• With or without an integral drying facility
or whether it be

• A rod mill or a ball mill

The mill itself can be single chamber, double chamber and in some cases, like clinker grinding, even a triple chamber mill.

The type of grinding system will depend largely on the material feed characteristics and on the fineness and size distribution of the end product required. Few typical flow sheets are given overleaf.

Fertiplant ball mills feature an integrally cast mill head and trunnion. The trunnion is amply sized to comfortably take the heavy load of the mill with balls and material. For air swept mills the trunnion is still bigger to allow for larger opening for air flow. Further the liner designs are in keeping with the latest development in the world and are different for the different mill chambers to ensure efficient grinding.
