Construction
The frame is rigidly fabricated from rolled steel plates, heavily ribbed and flanged for strength. The crushing chamber is fully lined with abrasion resistance steel plates. The breaker blocks are extra heavy and are of cast manganese steel.
The rotor assembly comprises of high tensile steel shaft, hardened and ground finished to close tolerances. The steel disc with spacers, and manganese steel
hammers mounted on the shaft are statically balanced.
Adjustability for positive product size control
Multiple screw jacks provide easy manual adjustment of entire breaker block assembly for product size control. Jacks are locked to hold assemblies in fixed positions when adjustments are completed. Shims and portable rams are not required.
Accessibility
Large hinged doors on each end swing back from the top carrying the entire breaker block assemblies with them and fully expose rotor, hammers, breaker blocks and liners. Side door permit withdrawal of rotor disks so that hammers can be readily changed with the rotor in place. Side doors also provide rapid and easy access for daily inspection.
Antifriction Bearings
Spherical roller bearing with taper bore sleeves are provided. They are mounted in housing of split design for fast inspection and servicing.
