Establishing and maintaning the desired accuracy of a weigh belt feeder was a challenge to Fertiplant in all the projects where weigh belt feeders were used by them. Therefore, Fertiplant decided to establish a full scale R & D cum demonstration unit of a hopper with a weigh belt feeder system. And after four years of continuous work on the prototype, established their own version of a highly accurate belt weigh feeders system. Designs and drawings of weigh belt feeder of 400 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm widths developed.
